     seating arrangement

Hi,

where do you usually seat families eg. aunts, uncles, cousins, should they be seated together, near the bridal party?

Traditional seating arrangement calls for parents of the bride and groom being seated together at a table of honor which is close to the top or head table. You can also have two "parent's tables", one for the brides parents and one for the groom's. The wedding officiant is seated at the parents table along with grandparents. If there is room you can include other close relatives at the parent's tables. Any remaining family should be seated nearest the top or head table with other relatives and friends sitting further away.
