     sunday weddings

My fiance and I have a special date ..the 14! We want to get married on the 14..in order to keep it our "DAY". The only time that works good for us is on a SUNDAY. We will be having it in a chuch and I thought about a 3o'clock wedding. Do we decorate the church after the service on sunday and just run around and decorate in 1 hr? And is it okay to have a dinner reception on a sunday night and have alcohol there? I thought wedding at 3 and over by 3:45 People leave to go to reception. We do pictures. Arrive at reception probably about 4:30. Have dinner about 5 and over by 6.. Cut cake and dance until 8 or later (if people wish) We would leave about 8-9. Is this too late on a Sunday if people have to work the next day?

Dear Jamiec,

That sounds like a workable plan. Sunday receptions traditionally end earlier and your timing works with that.
