     unexpected ceremony

I am getting married next year in santa monica CA. My family thinks I am getting married in October but we are actually going to have the wedding at home in August. It will be a surprise wedding. How do I get everyone to my house without blowing the surprise?

Dear Californiagirlz,

Is there any way to let them think they're coming to a surprise birthday or anninversary party for someone else so they will dress appropriately? Try to plan around something like that. That's the only thing I can think of.

Great idea! I was thinking the same. That way you will have everyone arriving early and it will be easy to spring the surprise on them.

Sounds like a ton of fun!
