     Casual Rehearsal Dinner

With all the stress leading up to the wedding, and all of the out of town guests we will have, I would much rather have a very casual rehearsal dinner. We will be inviting several close friends who are not actually in the wedding party so the dinner would include 40-50 people. Is it a MUST that I must have a fancy sit-down dinner or are there other alternatives to this?

No it is not imperative that it be a fancy dinner...many couples use a pavillion at a local park and have a cookout, picnic get together.

Awesome!!! A backyard BBQ hosted by close friends is exactly what I had in mind!! This couple has been lifesavers and have offered to host a luau type thing for our rehearsal dinner. They have a beautiful backyard with pool and I think we could make it beautiful and relaxing all at the same time!! Thanks for your advice!!

I think it will be just wonderful. And, like Nancy said, many couples choose to have a relaxed atmosphere for their rehearsal dinner. Have fun!

Cheers!
