     Why have a rehearsal dinner?

I did a search on rehearsal dinners, but none of the results answered my question. My question is why have a rehersal dinner, and is it possible to forgo this to cut costs if you're on a budget wedding?

Thanks in advance for your response - this site is fantastic!

You're spelling the word rehearsal wrong, so that could be your problem with not locating the answer. Make sure that you use the spell check provided when posting.

Everyone's in a rush when planing their wedding. Smile Settle down and enjoy the process. The day goes by very quickly. If you need to remind yourself of the rules please click the tab at the top of the page.

Thank you.
