Instead of favors

We are on a tight budget. Is there anything we could do, instead of spending hundreds on favors, to show our guests we appreciate them coming to the wedding?

Favors are optional. Just showing your guests a good time, providing them with refreshments and entertainment and then thanking them all for coming is enough.
