     ethnic wedding favor ideas

My fiance and I are looking for unique favors. We would like to incorporate our cultures or the 2 different states we are from.

I am Native American and from New Mexico and he is Swedish from Minnesota. We both met in the airline industry. As of now, I work for the airlines and he is an air traffic controller.

So with our backgrounds, any suggestions on favor ideas?

Thanks.

I am having a great time pondering this one, although I'm not 100% certain that there is a delicate way to combine the two. Please understand that my humorous approach in no way implies disrespect (I just keep thinking of recognizable things):

Swedish Fish in a small container that has a Native American design to it, or a ribbon with a traditional pattern to it wrapped around it? In a terracotta container???

What about a small jar of lingonberry jam (if that's not Swedish, blame IKEA for misleading me), maybe accompanied by a card with a recipe or suggestion for something from your Native American culture (a flatbread or something you are familiar with?) that would go really well with it that people might never have thought of?

Mittens, but in a traditional Native American pattern?

A frame or scroll with "Thank You" written in each language with your names and the wedding date on it?

I promise I'm not trying to be funny...it's actually an interesting dilemma, and I'm sue that once you've come up with a solution, it will be very meaningful and kind of cool! I hope you'll share your final decision with us!
