     Addressing envelopes for reception

Is it necessary to hand address the envelopes for the home reception that is to be held approximately a month after the destination wedding (which only the immediate family will attend), or is hand addressing considered mandatory only for the wedding invitations themselves?

Dear LGreen,

It should appear to be handwritten. So, labels are a no-no. You could use your printer if the font appears to be handwriting.

Best wishes,
