     Alcohol reception

I am having my reception at a vineyard, so obviously I will have alcohol. I don't want an open bar because I have 200+ guests, but I do want some wine and beer(a keg put down inside a wine barrel). Is it okay to have wine and beer, but not mixed drinks..because I think that might get too expensive. And also..I can't have the drinks just out because I don't want to be responsible for any underage drinkers, but I don't want to have to pay someone to stand there and check ids or guard the alcohol... how does this work at a wedding?

It is perfectly fine to limit your alcohol to beer and wine. You should check with the venue to see what they provide in terms of service of the alcoholic beverages. If they do not provide someone to service the drinks then you'll have to hire someone to oversee the dispensing of the alcohol.
