     Cash Bar

We are having a wedding in October and most of the attending is Catholic and Family, and most are frequent social drinkers. We have considered having a cash bar and paying for a few kegs of beer for the guests to enjoy. Some of our friends do not drink beer and this is why we have opted to have the cash bar so it is available. Is this idea a good way of going about it?

As we've said in many, may prior posts, asking your guests to pay for anything at your wedding is impolite. Host the party with the food and drink you can afford to serve. Please review past posts by searching or by scanning the forums before posting new.
