     Casual Reception Activities

My reception is going to be a casual cook out in the park, with hot dogs and hamburgers the main course. Though we are expecting close to a hundred people, approximately a quarter of those people will be children. What kinds of activities can we have at the reception that will be fun for all, young and old, that will still fit into our super casual setting?

How can I integrate some more formal reception practices, such as cake cutting, into this relaxed setting?

If you are having a dj or mc you will still announce the wedding party, do the cake cutting, etc. If you are not having a dj, then you'll have to provide someone with a strong voice to announce the elements as they occur.

In a park setting, you could arrange a scavenger hunt, volleyball, horseshoes, etc.
