I'm getting married ouside and IF it rains we do have a back up plan. But I have no idea what to use as a back drop/arch. I want to make something but it has to be easy to move to and from home to the hall. Any ideas.... ?
One idea is to purchase a white lattice arch from a craft or wholesale decorator store. They are pretty inexpensive, easy to move and decorate. We usually decorate the arch with white tulle, green ivy and flowers that resemble the wedding colors.
I hope this helps. Rhonda Allen, Bridal Consultant New Beginnings Weddings
A lot of the garden shops have beautifully decorated wrought iron hanging plant posts. You could purchase flower baskets that match your colors to hang from them, and include live ivy plants from the bottom and wrap the ivy around the post and secure with matching ribbon. They can only be used in a "yard" setting though, as you have to push the feet of the post into the ground. As your backdrop, you could purchase live ficus trees and decorate to match your theme. Afterwards, you will have plants for your hous and your yard! Copen Cabana DJ Audio Visual Production providing Custom Wedding Coffee Table Photo Book with DVD Services http://www.knowareland.com
