My daughter in having an outdoor wedding and an indoor/outdoor reception. She is planning on using the clear plasticware the caterer provides along with paper napkins she has already ordered with their names and wedding date on them. The caterer is providing punch in plastic cups. We are also planning on serving beer and wine at the reception and maybe soft drinks from the bar. What kind of glasses should we use, real glass or plastic?
Thanks for your help,

Since you have all of your other service pieces in the plastic, you could use the plastic for drinks as well. However, it would be nice to use a glass for the wine, a personal choice of mine. Nancy Tucker President of Weddings Beautiful US http://www.weddingsbeautiful.com

Honestly, a wedding should be a bit more formal. Plastic really shouldn't be used unless this is a barbecue. But, it is already ordered and planned. Hopefully it will go over well with guests. And, I definitely agree that glass wine glasses would be best. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
