How to include the mother in father/daughter dance.

I was wondering if you had any suggestions for my wedding reception as to how to honor my mother as well. She has contributed just as much financially and supported me so when I do the father/daughter dance, how can I thank her too?

You can recognize your mother's assistance when you do the toasts. The bride and groom should always thank their guests throughout the evening. This would be a good time to honor your mother's assistance. Also many couples do the real appreciation speeches at the rehearsal dinner.

I completely agree. Plus, your groom would be dancing with your mother some time during the reception. Often the couple begins the first dance. His father may cut in. Then the groom may dance with your mother.
