How to seat the parents at the wedding reception

I would like to know how to seat the parents at the reception. Do the bride's parents sit at the same table with the groom's parents or do they sit at separate tables? Both parents are married to each other-no divorces. Also, where would the Rabbi sit and should his wife be invited?

Most often the parents are seated at separate tables so that they can be joined by their immediate relatives. The Rabbi is seated to the right of the mother of the bride and, yes, you would invite his spouse.
