Introducing Bridal Party

When introducing the bridal party at the reception, should the bridesmaid or groomsan be announced first. I prefer the bridesmaid.

Dear Tia,
Because it is optional to announce attendants, it really doesn't matter. If you would like to announce the bridesmaids first, that is your choice.
