Is 2 years after wedding too late to plan wedding reception

My husband and I had to cancel our wedding due to his deployment, and instead exchanged vows with just our immediate families in attendance. We only had three weeks to get everything thrown together, and as a result, never had a reception. I would love to have one when he comes home, but we will only be four months from our second anniversary. Is is too late to have a formal reception? Unsure

Dear Mstymd,

Yes, unfortunately it is too late. We can host these any time within the first year. But, you could host an anniversary party. This is quite appropriate.

Best wishes,
