     Late wedding rsvp

Hi, I am going to be getting married on August 5th and mailed my invites in May with the request of RSVP's to be replied to by July 8. I will of course allow late ones, but if I don't hear from some should I call them to ask if they will be attending? That we are needing to know so as to plan enough food etc. for the reception and ceremony?

Yes, you can have a family member designated to make these calls - depending on which side of the family the non-responsive guests belongs.
