     Meal Idea for wedding reception

My FH and I have been talking about what kind of food we want to have at our wedding reception, (we are doing the food ourselves). My mom did my sisters food at her wedding, they had Chicken Alfredo, mostaccioli, ham (for sandwiches), salad, and a veggie tray.

Then my mom helped with my cousins wedding. They wanted something different and my aunt helped pay for the food so they had roast beef, green beans, mostaccioli, potatoes, salad.

So, now its my turn and my mom is going to be helping me so she was hoping I would do something a little easier for her, like cold foods (club sandwiches, salad, veggies ext). My family and his family are not the fancy type. We would be happy with BBQ and dancing.

I was just wondering what your views are on this and what types of food you would suggest?

Thanks,

DeAnna

DeAnna, if you and your fiance would be happy with a bbq, then go with that. It's your wedding make it what you want.
