I am having a very informal wedding in July at a chapel. The reception will be at a public park under some tents immeditaely following. The chapel is about 10 minutes away from the park. I want to be there in the morning before the ceremony to help decorate the reception site since I have done all the planning myself. I am concerned about the time in between when they will be no one at the reception site. Have you ever heard of a service to monistor a public reception site during the prep time and ceremony...a total of three hours? Has this ever been done before? Where would I find a guard? Someone please help me because I really want to be able to decorate my reception site, but I don't want to leave it without a guard with the risk of vandalism...
Thanks in Advance!!

Dear Park Setting,
I suppose the best thing to do is to ask around and check the phone book. There are guard services in my area that provides wonderful full service, but I wouldn't know about yours.
Please make sure that you don't need a day-use permit for your reception. Some areas require one. It would be a pity for you to be turned away on your wedding day.
