     Placecard dilemma

I'm working on my place/table cards for my wedding next week (9/16), and I've come accross a problem... and it's kinda urgent.

How do I word the cards when they have guests? Does the guest get their own card or do I just add them on, example "Ms. Jane Doe and Mr. Bob Smith"? The married couples are easy, but I'm concerned about the wording for couples who are not married, and people bringing random guests, when they don't share the same last name.

Also, I have 2 guests who don't know who they are bringing yet (!!), and I am trying to finish the cards today. Can I just put "Mr. Bob Smith and Guest"... it looks tacky, like I didn't take the time to find out who they are bringing!!

Thanks!
