Planning a wedding reception without dancing or alcohol.
We have a problem figuring out the best way to have our wedding reception. Several relatives on the bride's side do not believe in dancing or drinking any liquor. What is the best way to handle this so everyone feels comfortable and still join in the celebration. We have thought of having a break after dinner where anyone who does not dance can leave and also having a sparkling apple cider or something on the tables that the nondrinkers sit at so they can join in the toast. I know that they absolutely will not stay for ANY dancing and are completely against ANY drinking of alcohol.

That is a great idea. Plan your dancing for after the toasts and meal. The sparkling cider is perfect. But, other than that, a few guests don't dictate the event. You are being a good host by ensuring your guest's comfort, but you are accommodating them enough.
