     Seating Arrangements for Wedding

Hi all! I am just working on doing seating arrangements for my wedding, and was wondering which way is the best means of doing this. Do you seat people together that know one another or do you want people to meet others that they may not know previously? Does there have to be a "singles" table? Also my groom-to-be's parents just got divorced, how do I make them both feel included in the "family" table??

Thank you in advance for your advice!!

Smile

Dear Kim:

Your table seating arrangements should consist of people who know each and people who don't. You don't need a singles table. If the groom's parents are cordial and aren't in relationships, then they could sit at the same table, just not next to each other. If they aren't, or if you or the groom thinks it may be akward, consider having two groom's family tables and seat them separately.

Best wishes,
