     Seatings

I just wanted to know if you can help me with a wedding etiquette question. I would like to know where exactly should the parents of the couple sit during the reception? It is not the first marriage for either one of us and we have 5 children combined (16-27 years old) he wants the kids in the wedding party I hadn't planned on having any bridesmaids so I thought that they could sit at the head table. Can you help with the confusion? Unsure

Dear DBride,

It is typically better for the parents to sit at a 'parent's' table. The children could sit at the head table if they are attendants. But, you are the boss here. You make the decisions.

Best wishes,
