After getting married out-of-state this fall, when should she have a reception here if her sister is getting married in May?

Dear Loving Mom,
If the couple wants a reception in your home town after their wedding, then they may. It shouldn't be held too close to her sister's wedding date and isn't considered a gift giving situation, although some may give gifts.
