Should wedding guests wait for the bridal party to eat

We are planning on a buffet dinner reception. Should our wedding guests wait for the wedding party to eat or just go ahead through the buffet?

Thank you for the information. Then I guess you need to have appetizers while the guests wait for the wedding party? Blush

Is it tacky to have 2 meats, vegetables, rolls and another dessert besides the cake?

There shouldn't be too much time in between the wedding and the reception if at all possible. You could do most of your pictures before the wedding. If guests have to wait, it is only polite to offer them something to hold them over.
