     Small Wedding Dilemma

So, I have read through lots of answers, and I still have an issue with my impending small wedding. May 2007, 25 people, historic mansion setting. I am thinking pictures after the ceremony, and then catered reception in the same location. I don't really think dancing would be appropriate with so few people.... what do you think? And in terms of food/beverages, I was just thinking of a nice dinner... nothing too fancy. Toasts, conversation, food, cake, and home. Maybe a 6:30 ceremony on a Friday night, and 7pm dinner. Am I on the right track, or will this be the most boring event? I was also considering a dinner reception at a local area restaurant.... no pressure to dance, just a nice dinner. Can I please have your thoughts???

Dear Penneysmama,

Dancing isn't mandatory. Either of your ideas would be fine. If you plan on the historic mansion, please don't keep your guests waiting too long while you take pictures. With so few guests they may get very bored.

Best wishes,
