We are planning a small wedding (about 20 close family and friends) in a little chapel near our home. The chapel serves as a community space, and we are planning to have both the ceremony and a reception with a catered meal there.
We are currently trying to come up with ideas for entertainment. The space is somewhat small, and there is little space for dancing. Any thoughts on what couples have done in the past with smaller receptions?
Thanks.

Dear Corianas,
You really don't need any type of entertainment to speak of. I'm not a planner, but I find that a nice string quartet a nice backdrop.

I totally agree with Rebecca. I would time the reception for earlier in the day and save on the menu as well. The brunch is much less expensive than dinner selections. Also, a string quartet or just a harp would be nice background music.
The later in the day, the more guests expecting drinking and dancing to be a part of your reception. Nancy Tucker President of Weddings Beautiful US http://www.weddingsbeautiful.com
