     Wedding Dance alternatives

I have enjoyed reading all the various ideas on this site. I really want to have a fun, enjoyable wedding for all of my guests, but my fiance and I are not interested in having a dance. I thought about having table games and stations, but I am concerned about games and such not flowing well and being too boring. Are there any other suggestions we could run ourselves that would keep flow going well and keep my guests entertained?

Games do not seem to go over well at wedding receptions because of the number of people attending. This is one area of planning where I have found sticking to what usually happens (intro of couple, dances, dinner, toasts, etc.) is a good idea.

I completely agree. Plus, you could have a cocktail reception with light music in the background and no dancing. You would probably want to plan this during a time when people do not expect a meal and plan for it to end sooner than most.
