Wedding Flower Arrangement an Centerpiece crisis

My best friend is getting married in July her colors are light purple and silver and flowers are Calalillies and roses...we are trying to decide on something simple and elegant for the centerpieces. She doesn't like the fish bowl idea with the floating candles and jewels in the bottom on top of the tile mirror she knows that she wants it to be simple yet beautiful. We have visited many MANY websites to get some unique ideas...and nothing has sparked her interest. She wanted to stay simple but eye catching. Any ideas would be appreciated and welcomed!!!

You might consider hand carved candles using the wedding theme colors and specific flowers she has, which can also display text personalized just for you (i.e. favorite song, poem, vows, etc.). Some featuring sea and landscapes also have embedded objects, like sea shells, etc. Do a search for hand carved candles and you'll be surprised by the many available. They range in price from $15 to $45 and up, and are 7" to 13" and larger. Perfect for centerpieces! Once the candle is lit, silhouettes are visible from within. Super neat effect.

I think that the customized candles is a great idea, too. Other than candles, if the bride wants something simple, a lot of our brides are going with the grass center pieces. She can either have one large grass center piece or a few individual ones grouped together. Some brides choose to have a few small grass containers and a few containers with flowers that are similar to the ones in the brides bouquet. What is great about these displays is that they are low, simple and elegant.

Good luck,

SmileSmileSmileSmile Hi ...first of all...THIS is not a crisis!!!! Maybe a challenge...but not a crisis!!!! For a classy suggestion...How about a large single calla lily in a perfect glass pedistal bud vase and a touch of beargrass... then 3 small glass votive candles around the edges. Or...a glass cylinder vase with a spiral of an interesting green uner water and a floating candle( see my website) I also like petals on the tables and a pillar candle....I do think your friend will come to the perfect decision. Sometimes we as helpers can get too anxious when what really needs to happen is to sit back and let the perfect solutions just come...Push less, dream more and the solution will come and be clear.... and Relax...No worries...the wedding is coming up and will be beautiful with od without a centerpiece crisis. Love and have fun..This is good stuff....Take care

How about a cylinder vase with pretty rocks at the bottom with a round floating candle. This is what I am doing except I am sinking a minnie gerbera at the bottom held down by the rocks....it looks very cute.
