     Wedding and Reception Seating

Our wedding and reception will be in the same hall and all guests will be seated at tables for the ceremony. Because the DJ (who is also Event Day Coordinator) will be set up left of the Groom, would it be acceptable for honored guests of the Bride and the Groom to be seated on the same side of the room. Most guests are mutual friends and will not care what side of the room they sit.Thank you.

The very nature of the set up for your ceremony/reception would deem it semi formal and therefore seating would be as you desire. Just as you would with any other seating arrangement for a wedding reception.
