     Wedding scrapbook as guestbook?

I am planning on making a scrapbook of our wedding that will include planning, showers, etc. I want to know if it is appropriate to: 1. have my shower hosts list the gifts/givers in the scrapbook, and 2. insert a page for guests to sign, rather than use a traditional guestbook.

Thanks!

Dear Bride,

If this was just for your viewing, it would be fine to list the gifts and givers. But, if this is going to be on view for all to see, then it is not appropriate, as it could be potentially embarrassing for the guests. If you want to use this as a guest book, remove all gift giving pages.

It would be better for you to list the guests and gifts rather than the host of the shower. The host is doing enough just by hosting.

Best wishes,
