Who helps set up wedding reception

I'm really confused about who helps setup the wedding reception. I don't have the money for a wedding planner. We are having the wedding ceremony at noon and the reception at 1 PM, so who do I have to help set up the food and tables while we are getting married?

Setup depends on your banquet hall. Can setup be done the night before, earlier in the morning, etc. Find out what their rules are about setup.

Who does the setup? If you have no wedding planner then it's up to you to do the setup, recruit friends and family to setup or hire someone. But, it is not an obligation of the family or bridal party.

Absolutely. You are the host. So, it is your job to make sure your party goes as planned.
