     bridal table seating arrangements

hi there, we are having difficulty with seating arrangements for the bridal table. the parents want to be at the main table but i also dont want it to be just the 6 of us as that could be boring. i want my bridesmaids there too but then would i have to have partners and the groomsmen and their partners as that would lead to a table of 16 which is far too many. Please help?

Usually, the bridal table only consists of the bride, groom and their wedding party. It is common for the parents to be seated at another table nearby. I have worked many weddings and this has always been the arrangement.

The head table is really for the bride, groom and actual wedding party attendants.
