     collecting wedding gifts

I hate the birdcage and I am afraid of thieves!!! What are my options for collecting gifts from guests at my reception?

Dear Collecting Gifts,

I'm assuming since you mention the bird cage, that you are speaking of cards with monetary gifts. Most guests will hold the card and give it to you or to your parents during the wedding.

Wedding Card Box

Description: Placed on a gift table, this brocade envelope container crowned with a gorgeous organza bow and rosebuds will complement any bride's concept colors.

Most people will give checks rather than cash so you don't have to be too worried about having the gifts stolen however you can ask a member oof the bridal party to watch over the gifts or one of the catering staff if you trust them.
