My daughter will be getting married in November. The reception will begin at 5 or 5:30. We will have round tables for guests and long tables for wedding party, also long table for buffet and cake. We want to do the deorating ourselves as to maybe save a few bucks. Any ideas or good websites that maybe show photos of receptions. Thanks

Centerpiece Ideas:
Use maybe three pillar candles on a tray with some type of beads, clear gems, pearls, etc. with a little greenery; or you might consider hurricane globes over a pillar candle with greenery; or using crackled glass globes with pillars give a very nice glow in low light situations.
You might consider using one of the round tables for the brides tables; place the buffet tables in a "t" pattern and use a large centerpiece in where the three tables come together (you might want elevate the centerpiece to give more height).
Be sure to use tablecloths to the floor or skirt the tables for a clean and dressy look. Place food at varying levels for a little interest. We utilized lots of tulle with bows and greenery on lattice for backdrops behinds the tables for the bride, groom and food, etc. The bows can be made with white or you might consider using the chosen color or the combination of both with greenery hanging down. Ivy is my choice of greenery.
We are using round tables for the punch table and the brides table.
We are having a picture table that displays the couples pictures from birth to now and I found a garden statue (at Wal-Mart) of a little boy and girl on a swing (the swing acutally swings) and it it so cute. It will make a perfect backdrop for this table.
We are using lots of pillar candles - so as to have lots of candlelight.
