     reception seating for divorced parents

Hello. In my reception hall we have tables of 6. My mother is divorced and seeing someone and his mother is divorced and seeing someone. His father is re-married and my father is single. With our parents it would be very uncomfortable to seat our divorced parents together. We also each only have one set of grandparents and they are on our mother's sides. We have our father's table all set, we are putting them together. But we are not sure how to seat our mothers. We wanted them with the grandparents but that makes a table of 8 and separating them with just their parents gives us tables of 4 and we don't know who to put with them. What should we do?

You could put each mother at a separate table with their parents and perhaps a close aunt or uncle or grandchild of each.
