     too many dances?

My fiance and I both have two children. At the time of my wedding,my son will be 14,my daughter will be 11. His eldest daughter will be 15 and his youngest daughter will be 9.
I do not have a father figure in my life and I plan to dance my "bride/father" dance with my son. I would like to include the other children with special dances.
This is what I was thinking:

1. Bride/Groom
2. Bride/Son
3.Groom/Mother
4.Groom/Eldest Daughter
5.Bride/daughter & Groom/Daughter

Is this too many dances to have consecutively? Maybe I could split them up during the course of the reception. How would that work?

Dear LisaQ79,

I think that sounds like a wonderful idea and I think that I would keep them all within the First Dance time frame. Just have the couples switch throughout the song. I would allow the bride/groom first dance to be one song or most of one song. Then have a second song for the mother/son and bride/son dance, then switch off with the other children. This keeps the focus on the family dances without interrupting the flow of your reception repeatedly.
