uninviting mother of the groom to taste testing at venue

My fiance and I invited MOG to a taste testing dinner at our reception site. MOG is not paying for any reception fees. MOB and FOB very strongly want to come. The site only allows four persons to taste testing dinner. MOB and FOB are paying for reception fees. MOB will be very upset if MOG comes. MOG is paying for flowers and holding rehearsal dinner at her house. MOB feels there is no reason for MOG to come and have an opinion. I understand where my parents (MOB and FOB) are coming from, considering they are paying for the reception costs. How do I UN-invite MOG without any hard feelings? Unsure

Have your fiance explain to his mom that only four people are permitted at the tasting. She should understand. make it up to her by asking her to another planning event or task like addressing invitations.
