     wedding veil and reception

Is it appropriate to prolong the cocktail hour at the reception to give the wedding party more time to enjoy the cocktail hour and hor deurves...maybe for an extra half hour (for a total of 1.5 hours)

thanks!

Dear Becca,

As the song says, "It's your party..." Of course the rest of it says that you can cry if you want, but we will skip that part.

You may have the celebration you wish. The only concern would be not having enough food during a time that a meal is expected, or boring your guests. So, as long as you have those two concerns covered, you're fine.

Best wishes,
