     4th of July wedding ideas?

Hi, I'm new here. Before I get to my question, I'll give some background info. My fiance is a recent veteran of the Iraq war. We are very patriotic, and are planning our wedding for July 4, 2008. We are having an informal wedding and reception at a place called Bonfante Gardens, which is a theme park/garden.After the ceramony, the guests can play in the park and on the rides while we take pictures, and have the reception set up. We love to have fun, and this place suits us perfectly. Our reception will be a barbecue followed by dancing. Instead of a big white wedding cake, we will have lots of pies arranged on stands, and our guests will hold sparklers as we leave instead of throwing rice. I am seeking advice regarding ideas for the decorations. We want to incorporate red, white, and blue, but do not want a tacky display of bright stars and stripes and Uncle Sams everywhere! Does anyone have ideas for decorations, centerpieces, or anything else that would fit our theme? Perhaps using mostly white, and accents of red & blue? I don't know. Thank you so much in advance for your help. It is very much appreciated!

You can project this quite effectively with the use of white linen table cloths with a blue topper and red flowers in your centerpiece. This would be obvious yet suttle.
