I was hoping to get some ideas on a do-it-yourself Card Box/Holder for the reception. It is a beach wedding with the predominant color being turquoise. I do not want the bird cage or use seashells. Aside from decorating a hat box or other box, do you have any unique suggestions that will fit in with my theme/decor? Also, my wedding planner is making feather boa palm trees, and we're using exotic flowers.
I don't have any ideas, only a cautionary plea. Please don't make this appear to be a wishing well for depositing cash. These are not appropriate and most find them in bad taste.
Thank you...yes yes! I understand. However, how does one NOT make it look that way? I guess I'm confused between what a wishing well looks like and a card holder. I don't believe I've ever seen a wishing well! I was just going to do a decorated box of some sort with a slit to place cards. Is that "implying" we are hoping for cash? Trust me, I won't be adding dollar signs to the box or "Insert money here". But doesn't everyone usually have a box in which to put cards? Please advise! Thanks so much!
