Decorations for red wedding in the fall

I am having a wedding next October and love the idea of having the bridesmaid dresses and my primary color focus being red. I am not sure what accent color(s) I should use or reception decoration ideas that incorporate these ideas. I was really hoping to use red roses in the decor but was unsure of what alternative color and decore to balance this with (candles are permitted in both my ceremony and reception facility). In addition, I also have to decorate around the ceremony area which will be at the same site...a golf and country club with an oversized stone fireplace. Your help is much appreciated!Crazy

Hello Sarahdawn, October offers so many color variations and schemes. You could go with the jewel tones to compliment your red roses: Jade Green, Navy Blue, etc. or you could go with contrast. Your florist would have many informed creative suggestions for you.

You can also go with a fall-color theme, using red as the primary focal color. Add touches of yellows, earthy greens, browns and oranges to complement the red for a very natural seasonal look.
