My wedding venue doesn't allow me to hang anything from the ceiling. How can I hang my paper globes? Any ideas of a way to incorporate them into my wedding decor? I bought 110 globes for a 7000 sq foot building to help fill in the space. Would it look weird if I made flower pots weighted down with some sort of poles and wrap lights and tulle to make them blend in and run clear fishing line across to another pole? Sound dumb? http://www.brandonandkelli.com/

Unfortunately, I don't think that you are going to be able to use the lanterns. You don't want to have to settle for incorporating the lanterns just because you have them, and having your decor look less than perfect. I think it is going to be a huge challenge design wise for incorporating these and following the guidelines of your venue. Is there any way that you can use these for your ceremony?
I wish you the best of luck, and would suggest getting an opinion of another design expert who does rentals, drop ceilings and such in your area. They will be able to take a look at your venue with you and suggest some alternative options. Hope everything works out for you! Audrey Gardemeyer Botanica Floral Designs

I agree the use of the globes strung around the room would detract from the overall quality of your decor. Does the venue manager have any suggestions for using them? I am at a loss for a better idea. Nancy Tucker President of Weddings Beautiful US http://www.weddingsbeautiful.com
