I am in a frenzy over which color combinations to use for my pink and brown themed wedding. I have been changing my mind repeatedly and would like some help deciding. First, I thought that I would use an ivory tablecloth with a brown overlay topped off with pink accents. Next, I thought that I would use a pink tablecloth with a brown overlay topped with pink and ivory accents. I am loosing my mind. Can you please help me.

All I can give you is an opinion and mine would be the ivory table cloth with the brown overlay and pink accents. I am assuming that the brown is your main color. Nancy Tucker President of Weddings Beautiful US http://www.weddingsbeautiful.com

Great colors! If you want more of an impact with your colors, you can stick to the pink and brown. A pink underlay with a brown overlay and pink flowers would make a dramatic statement. Whites and ivories (to me) seem to tone down color schemes, unless this is something you are wanting to do. Another point of consideration would be what types of chairs you are having: Are there chair covers, what color these are, and how this ties into the rest of the decor as well. Hello Flower Diva, thank you for your reply. I think that I will do the pink tablecloth with the brown overlay. Now my question is...Does it matter if the pink tablecloth is a different shade of pink than the main pink that I have chosen for accents and bridesmaid bouquets? The chairs by the way are a type of heavy plastic, white, fold up style. I am planning to use tulle to add bows to them. It may also help you to know that the wedding is taking place in wedding barn where there is a lot of natural wood coloring and the lighting is very soft.

The color of the bridesmaid dress and the table cloth can be different shades of pink so long as your flowers are shades of pink. Their bouquets and the table centerpieces will help tie all of the pink shades together. If you aren't doing flowers on the table tops, then I would try to match as closely as possible to the girls' dresses.
Now, if your chairs are white, will there be a white plate on the table? You may tie in some white on your table tops if not. A tulle bow is not completely necessary, but if you could get a pink chair tie, that matches your linens, that would be a nice touch!
