Wedding decorations using pink and brown table linens

I need help with the tables at the wedding reception. I am going to have pink and brown as my colors. I want contemporary reception seating tables but I'm kind of stuck in a rut (i think). I was thinking about having floor length white table linens with a light pink topper and then have a brown runner going across. My florist is putting 6 eiffel towers on 1/2 the tables and then using the bridesmaids bouquets on the other half. My flowers will be a wide assortment of brown, pink and white with bright greenery. I don't know if that is over doing it or not. I also would like to have votive candles around the tables. My florist also said he could use petals.

Please help...Thank you! Unsure

SmileSmileSmileI think it's sounding quite nice. If you are worried have your florist do a mock up. SmileWinkBlushSmileThe only thing I might want to suggest is if you can use brown overlays and skip the runners. Brown makes a great backgroung for pink petals and the darl linen can be quite dramatic. But that is sort of splitting hairs really. It sounds beautiful!Wink

To keep with the color theme you might consider using the brown, pink, and white striped soft square candy as a party favor. It's individually wrapped. I used to eat the candy as a kid, and it had coconut as part of the ingredient. Does anyone remember what it's called?? You can usually find it at the bulk candy stores and you can purchase by the pound.

Perhaps coconut or vanilla scented votive candles might be considered?

Sounds like it's going to be an elegant affair! Good luck!

Yes, i have heard of them. They are called Sundaes and you can find them on Brach's website. I might use them as some kind of candy treat bowl, because i am already doing the pink and brown m & m's in clear containers with an accent polka dot bow. Thank you for the suggestion....any others would be greatly apprecieated!!!Smile
