My daughter is planning a renaissance wedding in October. This is a new one to me. I need any advice I can get on decorations, clothing etc... My daughter has said that she will not expect her guests to dress the period. Her fiance' has in the past been a member of our local renaissance re enactor club. Thanks for your help.
It's possible that some of the guests might want to participate in the theme. If so, you might consider contacting costume companies, which often have this period of dress available for reasonable rental, and make the information available to those who wish to participate.
Also, visiting a costume company and enlist the help of the staff which will give you a better idea of what to expect and what you will need to help put the event together.
