     Amateur toastmaster dinner annoucement

My husband has been asked to act as toastmaster for a friend's wedding. The friend asked him to announce dinner is being sserved and then the individual speeches. Please let us know the wording that should be used and the correct etiquette for making these announcements.

Dear Toastmaster,

I appreciate you for wanting to do this appropriately very much. However, there isn't just one way to do this or an etiquette involved.

It is best to ask the couple if they have an idea of how they wish the announcements to be worded. Other than that use good judgment in your language. But, there must be a reason your husband was chosen. I would imagine that the couple trusts him to be polite and brilliant.

Enjoy!
