Best Man Speech

Best Man is also StepFather of the Bride. Need help with a "light-hearted" speech. He is also best friends with the groom.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Because you have multiple roles in this wedding, when talking about the Groom it would be best to leave out stories of the Groom's past "bad" behavior - no matter how humorous - that a Best Man might normally consider mentioning. Focus on how you know the Groom very well and you have no reservations about your Step Daughter marrying him. For example...

"Good evening. My name is ____ and tonight I am ____'s Best Man. We have known each other for ___ years. I am also the Bride's Step Father, so I can say without hesitation that I not only know the Groom, but I think highly of him. [Groom] is hardworking, honest, and a man of integrity. (more about the groom and why you think the he is such a wonderful choice for your stepdaughter, any advice you would like to give, and what you hope their future holds for them.)
