My grandmother bought me some really expensive toasting glasses. I want to use them at the reception and I want the photographer to take a picture of us toasting. Since we are having the reception in the church, we will probably have to use something like sparkling grape juice. We are on a small budget and have a small buffet type food selection. Is it inappropriate to do the toast with our glasses containing sparkling grape juice and guests using their clear punch glasses? I don't really have the money to provide champagne glasses or sparkling grape juice to everyone. Then after I tell everyone thanks...do I say anything to my new husband?? help me please!?!

Dear Toasting,
Don't worry. This will be fine. You can hold up your glasses to toast the guests with your nice glasses, thanking your grandmother at the same time. Your guests will understand about their glasses.
The bride's toast to her husband is an option. It is not obligatory. If you wanted to say anything, it could be a simple, "to the best man I never thought that I would meet." Easy.
